Proceed to taxi's located just out the door after
retrieving your luggage. Please ask for a taxi to RED

UPON ARRIVING IN ST JOHN:
*After exiting the ferry and retrieving your luggage,
you will find your greeter at the end of the dock with a
sign with your name on it. From here the greeter will
escort you to your villa and or car rental. *Please note
that due to liability reasons, not all greeters can
carry you in their personal vehicles. If you did not
rent a vehicle then often greeters will walk guests over
to Grande Bay since it is just a few minute walk from
the dock. IF YOU HAVE SPECIAL NEEDS AND CANNOT WALK
PLEASE LET US KNOW SO WE CAN MAKE ARRANGEMENTS.
IF YOU RENTED A
CAR IN ST THOMAS:
*After
retrieving your car in St Thomas and making your way to
the RED HOOK Barge dock please call us once on the
barge so we know what barge you will be on. The barges
run on the half hour with the last barge being 6:30pm.
Once you reach St John please call your greeter and make
your way to Grande Bay and proceed to park in the spot
designated for you (This info along with driving
instructions will be emailed to you). Your greeter will
meet you in your parking spot. If you feel like you
cannot find your way off the barge to Grande Bay, please
let us know and we will arrange a greeter from the barge
dock area.
CAR RENTALS:
Many guests
choose to rent a car for only a few days during their
stay due to the fact that Grande Bay is so close to
town. Whether you choose to rent for your whole stay or
just a few days, is a personal preference. For those
that do not want to rent a car we have plenty of taxis
available for hire.
Also while considering what days to rent a car remember
that if depending on your other activities, such as full
day boat trips, there may be other days that you do not
need a car.
* On our Arrival
& Concierge Form you can fill in your car rental
info or if you would like us to reserve one for you.
**It is important, even if you wait to rent once on
island , that you inform us of what days you will be
reserving for so we may designate you a specific parking
spot! Parking is tight and we must coordinate this to
insure you have a parking spot.
***Also we
HIGHLY recommend if you are staying with us during High
Season through Spring Shoulder (Christmas-End of July)
that you reserve in advance. Most car rental companies
will NOT do a reservation of 3 nights or less in
advance. Please keep this in mind while planning your
trip.

charged if the towels are damaged.
The maids will
appreciate any food you leave behind in the fridge. If
you appreciated the cleanliness of your villa, tips for
your housekeeper can always be left.

all, units may have electric grills.

both the upper and lower buildings.
FEEDBACK/GUEST
BOOK REVIEWS: We value your input so please contact us
regarding your stay. We want to know how your trip was,
if you enjoyed your villa and if you felt there was
anything we could improve! So please tell us!!
In your villa
you will find a guest book that is invaluable to our
other guests. So if you find you have a moment please
let us know what you enjoyed most about your trip!
MAID SERVICES AND CLEANING: All of our villas are
cleaned and prepared before your arrival. If you’d like to
arrange extra maid service, please call us with some
advance notice. It will cost about $50 to $100 per
visit, depending on the number of bedrooms your group is
occupying in your villa.
MEDICAL NEEDS: For emergencies dial 911 (from a cell
phone, call 340-693-7377 for St. John Search + Rescue.
If 911 does not pick
up, call 776-6222 for an ambulance. (On St. Thomas, the
Roy L. Schneider Hospital’s general telephone number is
776-8311. For general needs,
Cruz Bay-Red Hook Family Practice 776-6789 offers
appointments Mondays-Fridays 8–10 am, and after 4:30 pm
– and after-hours care is
available by calling 777-0112, 24 hours a day. The
nurses at St. John’s Myrah Keating Smith Clinic can
usually talk you through something on the
phone, if they know you’re a tourist having a problem:
693-8900.
EXTERMINATORS:
Our units are serviced on a regular basis for
preventative measures. Once a month they will be escort
to all units by our front desk/security staff. There are
signs next to all elevators informing you of the date of
the next service.
***IF YOU HAVE
SEVERE ALLERGIES OR SMALL CHILDREN AND DO NOT WANT
SPRAYING DURING YOUR VISIT, PLEASE CONTACT US!!
POOL SAFETY: Please NEVER dive into the pool.
It is not deep enough and you could be seriously
injured! Always watch all children and partying adults
carefully, and please do not allow anyone to run around
the pool areas or decks - someone could slip and fall. Be extremely cautious.
POWER OUTAGES: Occasionally we have power “outages”
which can last anywhere from a few minutes to a few
hours. If your electricity goes out, please contact our
front desk to be sure its an "Island" outage
(340-693-4600) and not your unit specifically. If it is
just your unit then please contact us.
Flashlights are provided in your villa.
TELEPHONE CALLS: Dial 9 to get to an outside line! Phone calls are free of
charge between St. Thomas, St. John and St. Croix. WE
HAVE FREE LONG DISTANCE!
CELL SERVICES: AT&T and SPRINT have the most
prevalent here and have the greatest cell service. Cell
service is scarce inside your unit due to the concrete
structure. Head out to the outside balcony and you will
find you have greater service. BEWARE, in certain
locations such as the North Shore beaches, your cell will
pick up the signal from Tortola. Because it is a British
Virgin Island, it’s $3/minute for International Roaming.
Check your signal to see if you
are still on your home network, or if it has switched
over to CCT Boat Phone in the BVI, to avoid high
charges. Usually your normal cell provider
will come back on when you move out of that area.
WATER CONSERVATION: Water is a scarce resource on St
John. Please Help us
conserve water by never letting the water run
unnecessarily. PLEASE
report all running toilets and dripping faucets to your
manager immediately!
IS THE WATER SAFE TO DRINK? Our water is
filtered before it comes out of the faucets, and double
filtered out of the fridge. However this is a personal
choice depending on the temperament of your stomach.
Continue on to provide your arrival info.
